It was a leisurely stroll by the seaside for John Caulfield's Cork City as three goals in four second half minutes killed off a tame Bray Wanderers challenge.

Sean McLoughlin struck the opener after eight minutes against the league's basement side but travelling Leesiders had to wait another 57 minutes for their next goal. They were rewarded with three in quick succession for their patience.

A sublime Barry McNamee strike - which saw him burst onto Sadlier's pass and dribble to within touching distance of the penalty spot before drilling brilliantly into the bottom corner. The next goalscorer was unclear. Sadlier's teasing free kick was begging for a touch and may have gotten the deftest one from McLoughlin but it went in regardless. The defender celebrated but word from elsewhere implied it was Sadlier's to claim.

There was no doubt over the fourth though as the winger blasted in from all of 30 yards to add some gloss to the scoreline on a night when City barely broke a sweat. It is a first away clean sheet of the season for Cork, while Bray have now leaked 22 goals in eight outings.
