Second-half substitute Eoghan Stokes scored the goal that gave Bohemians all three points against Shamrock Rovers. Understandably, the Leixlip native was elated after the match. “I’m delighted. Honestly, I‘m ‘buzzing’. Look at the atmosphere. Look at the crowd we brought down here. To score in front of them is something you dream of.”  Stokes, who spent four years on the books at Leeds United, paid tribute to the resolute performance the whole Bohs squad produced at the Tallaght Stadium. “When you come on off the bench you just try to make an impact. I’m glad I did. I wanted to put in as much of an effort as the rest of the boys had done. I thought we were superb today.”  22-year old Stokes has primarily been used as a substitute in recent matches. But that use has been to good effect as the former St. Kevin’s Boys player also netted in the Dalymount league over Limerick and in the Wexford FAI Cup match. “I’ve come off the bench the last three games. It’s been tough to get back in the side the way they’ve been playing.”  The call from Keith Long came in the 64th minute at Tallaght and Stokes came on for the injured Kevin Devaney. “To be fair he (Long) said to me you’ve been doing great; you’ve been excellent in training. "Come on and make an impact the way you’ve done in the last three games. I’m delighted to score three goals in three games.”  Bohs have taken ten points from their four league encounters with Rovers this season. “You look forward to this all week,” says Stokes. “You’re thinking about the game. To come out here and do them over twice in their own place, twice, is something at the start of the season you’d love. We’ve won three games and (had) one draw so we’re delighted.”
