Virgin Media Television select next two fixtures and updates confirmed
The League of Ireland can confirm the following fixture updates and broadcast selections in the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division following the conclusion of the Third Qualifying Rounds in UEFA Club Competitions.
Drogheda United’s big clash in the race for Europe next year with St. Patrick’s Athletic will be broadcast on Virgin Media Two on Friday, August 22 while Cork City’s bid to maintain their top flight status continues when they face Waterford in a Munster Derby live on Virgin Media Two on Friday, August 29.
With both Shamrock Rovers and Shelbourne reaching the UEFA Conference League Play-Off, their SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division fixture on Friday, August 22 at Tallaght Stadium will be postponed with a new fixture date to be confirmed in due course.
Originally scheduled on August 29, Shamrock Rovers v Drogheda United at Tallaght Stadium and Shelbourne v Galway United at Tolka Park will now be played on Sunday, August 31 at 19:00 and 17:00 respectively.
