SSE Airtricity League First Division side Athlone Town have announced a number of new signings ahead of the 2019 season.
Former Wexford player John Morgan has signed for the upcoming campaign as Athlone Town look to improve on their 10th position finish last season.
The 28-year old can play in a number of positions and strengthens Terry Butler's options for the season.
Butler has also signed defender Lloyd Buckley who has previously played with Drogheda United and former Drogheda United striker Gareth McCaffrey.
McCaffrey scored six goals for Drogheda United last season and previously had a spell with Shamrock Rovers.
