The latest news across the League of Ireland

Jon Daly’s men will be travelling to Galway on the season’s opening day with a host of new faces as St. Patrick’s Athletic supporters are already dreaming of a title charge in 2024.

The latest edition on Friday came when Conor Keeley put pen to paper on a deal that brings him to Inchicore after impressing at Weavers Park last term.

Keeley joins Brandon and Cian Kavanagh, Ruairi Keating and Aaron Bolger in the door at Richmond Park.

There was further news in the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division as Keith Long secured the impressive signing of Darragh Leahy from Dundalk as he arrives in Waterford for their first season back in the top flight.

Long hopes to rekindle memories of Leahy’s 99th-minute goal in Tallaght when the pair were last together at Bohemians as the two get to work on solidifying the Club’s future in the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division.

Drogheda United for their part have secured the future of Ryan Brennan.

The SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division’s phone lines have also been busy.

Cork City have brought in promising forward Evan McLaughlin from Derry City while also re-signing Cian Bargary as Tim Clancy’s squad comes together after taking the reigns last week.

Bray Wanderers have also made their first moves in the off-season by bringing in Evan Osam and tying down the futures of Harry Groome, Ben Feeney, Cole Omorehiomwan and Guillermo Almirall.

In the Midlands, meanwhile, Athlone Town have put pen to paper with Oisin Duffy, German Fuentes Rodriguez, Roisin Molloy and Kayleigh Shine for the SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division and SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division sides respectively.

Wexford also continued their preparations for the 2024 campaign with the return of Alex Moody to Ferrycarrig Park.

Galway United also announced that Ireland U19 international Eve Dossen has re-signed for 2024 after her Avenir Sports All-Island Cup success in 2023.
