April 3, 1930: Jack Fitzgerald was born in Waterford on this day. He was one of six brothers to have played with the Blues. He scored the only goal of the game on his international debut against the Netherlands at Dalymount Park on 1st May 1955 and won his other cap against the same opposition in Rotterdam a year and nine days later.

One of his brothers, Peter, won five caps. He made his debut with Waterford in 1949 and finished his career with one season (1964/65) with Cork Hibernians. He scored a total of 130 League goals to leave him ranked joint 18th on the all-time list. Jack Fitzgerald died on 23rd November 2003 at the age of 73 years.

April 3, 2010: Bohemians defeated Linfield by 2-1 in the first leg of the semi-final of the 2009/10 Setanta Sports Cup tournament.

Goals from Ken Oman (53) and Raffaele Cretaro (86) saw Bohemians come from behind to establish a first leg lead.
