It’s fair to say that it has been a good few days for Finn Harps, a good win from behind against Drogheda United followed by a late goal to earn them the 3 points against Galway United.

Jesse Devers set up the winner against Drogheda and scored an excellent winner against Galway, a goal which he says is “his best in the League of Ireland, so far.”

“I’m just glad to get it against Galway too, I wasn’t coming off that pitch without beating them.” he added.

Finn Harps have won their last 4 outings in a row and sit in 2nd place and Devers puts the good form down to commitment.

“Players giving 100% every game, we keep going the 90 minutes,” he said

“That’s two 90th minute goals now and we came back last week and won 2-1, so great character from the boys.” he added.

Classic banter between players interrupted the interview slightly as Ciaran Gallagher was filming it on his phone.

“Away you,” he said laughing before continuing the interview.

Finn Harps are up to second in the league, and sit six points behind table topping UCD, although the Donegal outfit have played a game less.

“It’s great, we just keep pushing on, we have Shelbourne now next week and just got to get ready for that.” he concluded.
