With Oriel Park still celebrating the opening goal on Thursday night by Patrick Hoban, Michael Duffy not to be outdone by his team mate decided it was time to do something very special.  A long ball into the area by Jamie McGrath was met by the on running Duffy who never broke his stride to hit a sweet volley into the top of the net. To the 3,000 souls that were there to witness the term ‘Van Basten” was lauded around the ground such was the technique used in order to score the goal, what made it better? It was scored on his weaker foot. “I couldn’t have caught it any better!” recalled a delighted Duffy following the game on Thursday.  “I probably could have skied it but I’m delighted I didn’t and I am just delighted to get on the scoresheet.”  Following that goal, Levadia Tallinn sensing the tie slipping away put Dundalk under the cosh with Roman Debelko grabbing a goal just before half time. Despite this Duffy felt Dundalk were not under as much pressure as it seemed.  “They had a lot of possession in the second half but they didn’t worry us really, we were good defensively and even we know we need to be better in possession. We got the result and thats the main thing so we are happy.” Dundalk face Cypriot side AEK Larnaca on Thursday and Duffy knows Dundalk need to be on their best form in order to get over the much experienced side.  “They are going to be an even stronger team and we need to be a lot better and we will be looking forward to the match. We have a full week now to prepare which is good, we got the game off on Sunday (against Sligo) which is good.  "We will do our studying, have a rest up and hopefully we can get another result like tonight.”
