Dundalk have bolstered their squad with the signing of Lithuanian international midfielder Karolis Chvedukas.
The 26-year old joins the club from Lithuanian side Suduva Marijampole and has also earned 18 caps for his national side.
Chvedukas started his career at Suduva in 2008 before moving to RNK Split in the Croatian Premier League and he also had a spell in Poland for Chojniczanka Chojnice.
Stephen Kenny also recently moved to tie Georgie Poynton to a new deal with the Lilywhites after the loss of Patrick McEleney to Oldham Athletic over the Christmas period.
Chvedukas told dundalkfc.com: "I'm very happy and excited to be here. Today was the first training session for me and I got to see how hard the players worked.
"It is pre-season now so we have four or five weeks and we will start to the season and I'm looking forward to it. I will try to help the team this season and I think we will do well for the year ahead."
