The Football Association of Ireland today launched a Safer Return to Football Training protocol document for all SSE Airtricity League & Women's National League clubs.

All levels of the game will be allowed to return to training on Monday, June 15 with the exception of Dundalk, Shamrock Rovers, Bohemians and Derry City, all of whom began collective training today under the pilot programme for the four-team tournament.

The protocol document covers all aspects of how SSE Airtricity League & Women's National League clubs can return to training but with public health guidelines strictly adhered to at all times.

Today's protocol publication covers the senior leagues. A separate protocol document for adult amateur and underage football includes guidelines for the SSE Airtricity League under-age & WNL Under-17 Leagues.

Subject to Government guidelines, no matches – competitive or friendly - are allowed until further notice under the jurisdiction of the FAI.

The SSE Airtricity League & Women's National League Safer Return to Training protocol document is available to download here.
