1. Bradley praises players after win over Dundalk Stephen Bradley was full of praise for his young Shamrock Rovers side after they saw off reigning champions Dundalk in Tallaght Stadium on Friday. First-half goals from the impressive Ronan Finn and a header from David McAllister set Rovers up for the 2-1 victory over the Louth side. Bradley was particularly impressed with the bravery his side had shown, stating how important it was that they pressed Dundalk high and avoided conceding a late goal. Mahon disappointed after late Galway United goal Drogheda United conceded a 91st minute equaliser to draw 2-2 at home against Galway United. The home side held the lead at half time after an early goal from Adam Wixted but Galway replied with a Padraic Cunningham goal in the 81st minute to level things up. Drogheda thought they had won it when Wixted scored his second of the game in the 89th minute, but Jesse Devers stunned the home crowd as they replied just moments later as the game ended 2-2. Waterford return to the top of the SSE Airtricity League First Division table A first-half header from Mark O’Sullivan gave Waterford a 1-0 win over Shelbourne to put them back to the top of the SSE Airtricity League First Division table.
