Dundalk defender Sean Hoare and midfielder Conor Clifford spoke about the team spirit within the squad during their post match interviews after their side’s 6-5 penalty shootout victory over UCD.

Hoare was unhappy with his side’s first half showing, admitting that it took a UCD goal before the Dundalk team began to perform.

4. McCabe ready to rock Rovers

McCabe has netted nine times for his side this season making him the top scorer in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division. The former Rovers man will be looking to extend his personal tally against his old club for Bray in the Carlisle Grounds on Friday.

McCabe spent five seasons in Tallaght before re-signing for Bray, a club he was with at the start of his professional career.

The Wicklow side will be looking to extend their run of good league form which sees them sitting in third place in the Premier Division.

5. Fuad already a Sule star at Bohemians

Fuad Sule’s performances for the Dalymount outfit have deservedly seen him praised. The former St. Patricks man has now seen comparisons to Chelsea star N’Golo Kante and former Real Madrid midfielder Claude Makelele thrown his way.

Despite such comparisons, the midfielder remains level headed, suggesting that he has more to offer to his side.

Sule is certainly one of a number of young talents in the league to keep an eye on for the remainder of the season.
