New signing claims August award
Shelbourne’s new signing Isabella Flocchini has been named SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division Player of the Month for August 2026.
The Shelbourne midfielder starred in a perfect August for the Reds, notching up three goals in just four games and has proven a key addition to Sean Russell’s side as they approach the end of the season.
Flocchini becomes the second Shelbourne player to pick up the award this year, with Halle Harcourt claiming the Player of the Month award in July.
Shelbourne take on Athlone Town in the Club Orange Women’s FAI Cup Final next Saturday, with the tie perfectly poised for Flocchini to play a starring role.
