Four fixtures have been rescheduled in the SSE Airtricity Premier and First Divisions.

Four fixtures have been rescheduled in the SSE Airtricity Premier and First Divisions.

Following the recent decision of an independent Disciplinary Committee of the Football Association of Ireland, the FAI confirms that the SSE Airtricity Premier Division fixture between Shelbourne FC and St Patrick’s Athletic will now be played at Tolka Park on Monday, 3rd October at 7:45pm.

The FAI acknowledges the frustrations of supporters and concerns expressed by Shelbourne FC around the failure to play this fixture as planned on 7th August and regrets the inconvenience caused to all those affected due to circumstances beyond the FAI’s control. Consequently, the FAI will now review the policy around fixtures for all clubs involved in UEFA club competitions ahead of the 2023 League of Ireland season.

The following three fixtures have also been rescheduled after the Extra.ie FAI Men’s Cup Quarter-Final results.
