Four LOI Clubs learn European ties
League of Ireland Clubs now know the ties to look forward to in UEFA Club Competitions this season for the two opening Qualifying Rounds.
In the First Qualifying Round, Shamrock Rovers will face Floriana of Malta with Bohemians clashing against St. Joseph’s of Gibraltar while Derry City meet CSKA Sofia from Bulgaria with full fixture details to be announced for the two legged ties.
The 2025 SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division Champions will face will face FC Ararat-Armenia (ARM) or Riga FC (LVA) if they prevail from their tie with Floriana in the UEFA Champions League.
If Shamrock Rovers do not progress past Floriana, they will face FK Kauno Žalgiris (LTU) or FC Drita (KOS) in the UEFA Conference League Second Qualifying Round.
Derry City will face Qarabağ FK (AZE) or Vestri (ISL) if they progress past CSKA Sofia in the UEFA Europa League Second Qualifying Round.
And it'll be Rijeka for Derry City if they do not advance past CSKA Sofia in the UEFA Conference League Second Qualifying Round.
Shelbourne will face the winner of Nõmme Kalju FC (EST) or Linfield FC (NIR) in the UEFA Conference League Second Qualifying Round.
Meanwhile, Bohemians will face Connah's Quay Nomads FC (WAL) or FC Ballkani (KOS) if they progress past St. Joseph's.
Fixture details will be announced in due course with the First Qualifying Rounds kicking off the week of Monday, 6 July.
Confirmed First Qualifying Round Draw with Second Round to be confirmed for home and away details in the next couple of days.
