SSE Airtricity League First Division side Shelbourne have continued to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2019 campaign with the capture of Aidan Friel.
Friel spent last season with Ollie Horgan's Finn Harps side where he helped the club achieve promotion to the Premier Division after the play-off final victory over Limerick.
Friel has vast First Division experience with spells at Athlone Town, Wexford Youths and Longford Town in past seasons and will now move to Tolka Park.
Manager Ian Morris has already added a number of impressive signings to his 2019 squad with the likes of Oscar Brennan, Ryan Brennan and Conan Byrne all signing for the club in recent weeks.
Shelbourne will be looking to improve on their third-place finish where they lost in the play-offs to Drogheda United and finally achieve promotion to the Premier Division.
