Galway United remain top of the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division following an impressive 2-0 win against Treaty United, Maeve Wollmeyer proved to be the match winner for The Reds as she scored a last minute winner against Bohs in Tolka Park, while Leah McGrath and Courtney Chochol starred for Wexford in a 4-1 win against Cork City.
League top-scorer Dana Scheriff added another goal to her tally with a penalty in the 60th minute, and Hannah Waesch doubled the home side’s lead shortly after to secure a 2-0 win. DLR Waves kept a clean sheet at home in a 2-0 win against Sligo Rovers.
League leaders Galway United met Treaty United on the early live kick-off in Limerick, with United arriving at Markets Field as the only side with a 100% record. Phil Trill's side continued that unbeaten run in style, where Ceola Bergin broke the deadlock on 26 minutes before Emma Doherty doubled the advantage just past the hour mark.
The Dublin derby between Shelbourne and Bohemians at Tolka Park looked set to finish level until Maeve Wollmer struck deep into stoppage time to win it for the hosts. Shelbourne, one of the sides on seven points have kept pressure at the top thanks to Wollmer’s late winner.
Cork City took an early lead through Eva Mangan before Courtney Chochol turned the game on its head with two goals before the break to send Wexford in front at half-time. Substitute Leah McGrath produced outstanding cameo with two goals eight minutes apart having come on in the 60th minute to seal an emphatic 4-1 win for the home side.
The defending champions' top scorer, Dana Scheriff, who netted four against Bohemians in Round 3 to lead the division's scoring charts, converted from the penalty spot on the hour to break the deadlock at Athlone Town Stadium. Hannah Waesch sealed the points with a goal on 77 minutes against the Peas.
DLR Waves made the most of their home advantage with an early strike from Siun Murdiff to settle any nerves at the UCD Bowl. Amber Cosgrove's finish in the second half sealed a clean sheet win for the hosts against Sligo Rovers.
