Shamrock Rovers have announced the signing of Graham Burke on a 12-month loan deal from Championship side Preston North End.
The former Rovers man returns to the SSE Airtricity League having scored 23 goals in 49 appearances for the Tallaght Stadium club in his first spell.
Burke, who has been capped by the Republic of Ireland and scored in a friendly against the USA, moved on loan to Gillingham last season where he scored one goal in 12 appearances.
The 25-year old moved to Deepdale before the start of the 2018/19 campaign and made six appearances for the club, scoring one goal.
Burke has travelled to Cyprus to link up and train with the squad but he is not eligible for tomorrow's UEFA Europa League second qualifying round fixture against Apollon Limassol.
