It was whirlwind night for another one of Bohemians' young stars, Cristian Magerusan.  From putting his team 1-0 up, to signing kids foreheads and arms, the impressive Bohs starlet spoke of his conflicting emotions following his sides 3-1 defeat at European football chasing Waterford at Dalymount Park. Having opened the scoring on his full debut with a brilliantly taken first time finish, showing some razor sharp movement, from a whipped Jamie Hamilton cross, “Obviously I’m delighted with the goal, and Hamo (Jamie Hamilton) and I have a good understanding from the 19’s.  "I was really happy to get the nod to start and can’t thank the manager enough but still disappointed with the result. I thought we played well at times but we got punished.” A regular with the hugely successful U19s, the highly talented youngster went on to describe the step up to senior football. “I really enjoyed it to be honest. It’s a lot tougher and more physical obviously, but feel like I handled it ok and did what forwards do and score, it would have been nicer to win but that’s football.  "I just hope I can get some more minutes in the first team before the end of the season and I know myself I need to get a lot fitter at this level.” Bohs U19’s fell to a 2-1 first leg defeat away at FC Midtjylland in the UEFA Youth League, and due to eligibility rules, Magerusan was unavailable for selection but showed great maturity speaking about the situation, and echoed what U19 boss Craig Sexton said.  “I’m really gutted not to play but the lads did brilliant and that away goal is massive. We are well in the tie, and happy with that but talking to the boys, they can’t wait to get them back to Dalymount and have every confidence we can win, especially with the crowd behind them.”
