David Parkhouse admitted he was disappointed not to secure a hat-trick against Waterford on Monday night but insisted the three points was all that mattered.  The Derry City forward earned an emphatic brace against Alan Reynolds' side on Foyleside - including a mouthwatering 25-yard wonder striker - putting the Sheffield United loanee on nine league goals for the season.   It was a comprehensive performance from Declan Devine's outfit following their dismal 1-0 defeat against rivals Finn Harps on Friday night last - and the exact response the Derry faithful would have desired. "Listen, I probably should've had the hat-trick," Parkhouse said. "But at the end of the day, I was delighted to get the two goals and secure the three points for the team because that's what counts at the end. "It was was a disappointing night for the team on Friday night (against Finn Harps) but that does not sum up the Derry City team that we are.  "And we were just looking to come into Monday's game, not only to get the three points but, to put things right for the fans and ourselves and I think we achieved that. "We worked hard tonight, and we know we need to be a bit more clinical at times in the final third, but that will come and we will continue to work at that every week with the coaching staff."  The victory leaves the Candystripes three points off Bohemians in the final European place and Parkhouse wasn't prepared to look beyond Derry's next league game against UCD on Friday, ahead of crucial cup action in the coming weeks. He continued: "At the start of the week we only look at who we are up against next.  "We have UCD on Friday and we know that is going to be a tough game for us, they are in a relegation battle, and we need to be prepared.  "We will come in tomorrow morning, enjoy our victory tonight, come in tomorrow morning and we go again preparing for Friday night."
