Rob Cornwall spent three years at the Tallaght Stadium with Shamrock Rovers but these days, he is very much of Bohemians. And it was the 23-year-old central defender who preserved the Phibsboro men’s unbeaten league record this season against the Hoops with a late equaliser at Dalymount Park.  Cornwall reflected on his precious strike immediately after the game. “There wasn’t a lot of time left after they scored — but we just kept at it and I was glad I could take my chance when it came.” That opportunity was presented by Ethan Boyle’s foul on Ian Morris down the Bohs left. Keith Ward curled in a delightful free kick and Cornwall powered an unstoppable header past Tomer Chencinski to cancel out Ronan Finn’s 82nd minute breakaway strike for Rovers. It was the second time this season that Finn has given the Rovers the lead in Dalymount Park, but Rovers have yet to beat Bohs this campaign.  “We got back into the first game with a set-piece and it was the same here. You just have to do whatever it takes,” was Cornwall’s assessment of his first goal of the season, which sent the home fans into raptures.  Battling Bohs probably merited their draw in what in was overall a relatively disappointing match. Manager Keith Long was delighted with his men, “Really pleased to get a point. I think it was what we deserved. We extended our little run against Shamrock Rovers. They are our fierce rivals. We really look forward to the games (against them) and the occasion. "I’m glad it was a full house tonight here in Dalymount and that we didn’t disappoint in terms of the result.”  Opposing boss Stephen Bradley was less than pleased, “We got ahead of them and we should see it out and obviously we come away with a point when we should have got three.”
