Ahead of the 2021 SSE Airtricity Premier & First Division season, there is an opening for a Social Media Coordinator to help out on match-nights.

As the League prepares to enter the 2021 season, we are looking to improve our social media output and link it directly with WATCHLOI & LOI TV - the two platforms where you'll be able to watch all of the LOI football live.

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of promoting the League and to help widen its reach.

This is a freelance position where you will be required to work at least one match night per week during the 2021 season. For the role, you must have a passion for social media and, of course, the League of Ireland.

Responsibilities

Oversee content on the official League of Ireland channels on match days
Create content through text, image and video that will engage existing followers
Edit video footage from live feeds to capture & highlight memorable moments
Pitch ideas on how to attract new followers and create excitement around the League
Measure social media traffic, trends, and make the most of the channel's analytics
Adapt content to the specific social platform and utilise any tools available
Compile a round-up for each match day to be posted across various platforms
Keep all social media platforms updated throughout a match-day and link to the next set of matches

This is a paid position, run through the Football Association of Ireland, and applicants must be available for all match-days throughout the 2021 season.

Please e-mail your application with examples of previous work on social media to [email protected]. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, March 17.
