Indeed it's the first time Shane Keegan and his team have won two games in a row this season. They first dispatched of Limerick and followed up by beating the leagues bottom dwellers Drogheda United. Having previously went seven games without a win, it was two victories which will certainly have lifted the Tribesmen's spirits.
Cork City on the other hand will be reeling from their European exit at the hands of AEK Larnaca. The Leesiders lost both legs 1-0, but they return to the SSE Airtricity League with a comfortable 15 points cushion over second placed Dundalk.
John Caulfield's side also have two games in hand over the Lilywhites, but recently lost star striker Sean Maguire and Kevin O' Connor to Preston North End. They will remain confident of claiming all three points at home despite coming up against the only side who have taken points off them this season.
