Pete Mahon's men have lost their last three games on the trot which has extended their winless run to ten.
Finn Harps have a little bit more breathing room, and a win on Friday night could see them move up one spot to eighth. They are coming off the back of two defeats at the hands of champions Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers.
Drogheda came out of top when the sides met at Finn Park earlier on this season, coming back to Louth with all three points thanks to a 2-0 victory.
