Third from bottom Drogheda United will host mid-table Limerick this Friday hoping to climb out of the bottom three in the league standings.

The Drogs are currently without a single win in nine games. Pete Mahon's side have had a disappointing campaign after winning their opening two fixtures.

One goal in seven games does not bode well for the Super Blues as they play a Limerick side who have not struggled to score goals in their last few games.

Despite this, Limerick's form has been indifferent recently. Two wins, two losses and one draw have come from their last five outings.

Neil McDonald's side will be hoping to keep in touch with the teams ahead of them and distance themselves from the bottom half of the table. They are unbeaten in their last six games against Drogheda.
