Bottom-of-the-table Drogheda United will host St. Patrick's Athletic on Friday night hoping to pick up their first win in 13 league fixtures and attempt to close the gap between themselves and the teams above them.
Pete Mahon's men are rooted firmly to the bottom of the league standings, four points behind their nearest rivals Sligo Rovers and Galway United.
They face a difficult run of games following this fixture against Cork City, Bray Wanderers before travelling up north to face Derry City. The Drogs have struggled at both ends of the pitch and the forecast for the remainder of this season is bleak unless they can turn things around.
