The North Dublin side have five wins in their last ten games, which is a good return for a team touted to be in a relegation battle at the beginning of the season. Keith Long's men sit mid-table, five points ahead of Finn Harps who are in eighth position.
Harps are coming in to this game off the back of a 2-0 win over Drogheda United. The Ballybofey outfit have three wins from their last six games. Included in this run were two defeats against Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers, which perhaps they can be excused for given the talent at both those sides disposal.
With both teams sitting next to each other in the league standings, a win for the Gypsies would distance themselves from the bottom half and see them keep in touch with the teams above them.
Harps will be desperate for a win to not only close the gap on the Dalymount Park side, but to ensure they don't lose momentum in securing Premier Division football for next season.
