They have only won once away from home this campaign. The Candystripes' European exploits were cut short after they lost both legs to FC Midtylland, and before that they were beaten by both Bray Wanderers and Cork City in the league. Despite this, the Northerners currently sit in fifth position in the league standings. They have a game in hand over their nearest rivals, and should they win that game they will move to third place, albeit some 12 points off second place Dundalk.
