SSE Airtricity League First Division side Cobh Ramblers have announced the signing of former Preston North End defender Charlie Lyons.
The 18-year old moves to Ramblers for the 2019 season as Stephen Henderson strengthens his squad ahead of a competitive First Division season.
Lyons joined PNE in 2017 from Innishvilla and now returns to Ireland having spent the past two season in the Lancashire side's Under-18 side.
Ramblers have already added Wayne Doherty from Rockmount and SSE Airtricity League veteran Ian Turner. The 29-year old, who moved from St. Patrick's Athletic, formerly played for Cork City and Limerick.

The 18 year old defender spent two years in Preston having joined from Innishvilla in 2017
