Bohs and Bray played out a battling 0-0 draw in front of a packed Dalymount Park.

Following two massive wins on the road, against arch enemies Shamrock Rovers and Champions elect Cork City, an expectant home side would have hoped for better against a Bray Wanderers they beaten twice already this season.

But it was the visitors who looked the much better side in a very quiet first half, enjoying the majority of possession. Aaron Greene looked sharp up top with his pace, while the Wanderers defence dealt excellently with the threat of Dinny Corcoran and Ismahil Akinade.

The second half started much the same as the first, with neither team able to build any momentum due to the stop start nature of the game. The introduction of Keith Ward and Paddy Kavanagh livened the home side up as they began to enjoy more possession.

Ward went close with a curling effort and a towering Dan Byrne header from a Fuad Sule cross got the crowd going. Right at the death it looked as if Akinade had grabbed all three points when Kavanagh stood up a delightful cross fro the right, but the talismanic striker, under serious pressure, was unable to guide his header goalwards.
