Two of the leagues lowest scorers, Bohs and Drogheda played out a 0-0 draw at a glorious sun soaked Dalymount Park.

The visitors edged a very tense and nervy first half slightly and went closest to breaking the deadlock when Marc Griffin raced onto a through ball. Centre half Dan Byrne slipped, allowing the striker to race clear one on one but his low shot was excellently saved by Shane Supple. Bohs responded with a couple of long range efforts but Stephen McGuinnes was relatively untroubled in the Drogheda goal. Right on the stroke of half time it looked as if The Drogs snatched the lead but Gypsies skipper Derek Pender reacted quickest to head of the line from Griffins lob.

Bohs must have gotten a dose of the hairdryer treatment from boss Keith Long as they came flying out of the traps in the second half. Sule went close from 30 yards and Keith Ward had a great chance blocked from just inside the box. Drogheda did well to weather the storm and played their way back into the game without really providing a threat. Bohs finished the game the stronger with a bout of pressure and substitute Philly Gannon having an effort well blocked right at the death, It finished 0-0 with a point being no good to either side due to the congestion in the bottom half of the table as Drogheda's baron spell in front of goal continues, now failing to score in their last five outings. Bohs, on the whole, will feel like they missed a great chance to pull away from the bottom three as the excitement to beat the drop continues.
