Dundalk cruised into the Extra.ie FAI Cup semi-finals thanks to a 4-1 win over 10-men Bohemians at Dalymount Park.

The Lilywhites will face Athlone Town in the semi-finals as David McMillan netted a brace and Michael Duffy & Nathan Oduwa found the net to secure the win.

Duffy took just two minutes to get the away side ahead as he got in behind thanks to a fantastic through-ball by McMillan and his low effort found the corner of the net.

Andre Wright equalised from the spot with a quarter of an hour gone but Dundalk would go into the break with a two-goal lead. Keith Buckley took down Duffy in the area and McMillan lifted the ball over James Talbot to score in the 35th minute.

Three minutes later, McMillan got his second of the game when he headed home Cameron Dummigan's cross into the near post.

Michael Barker was shown a second yellow card and sent off in the 72nd minute to make any comeback even more difficult and substitute Oduwa added a fourth with three minutes remaining.
