Bohemians cruised to victory over Cork City as the Leesiders' relegation fears worsened at Dalymount Park.

After the departure of Neale Fenn earlier in the week, interim manager Colin Healy took charge but it had no impact as a brace from Andre Wright and a sensational finish from Danny Grant sealed the win.

It took the home side just 16 minutes to take the lead as Promise Omochere found Wright and he took one touch past the defender to finish.

Bohemians doubled their lead just four minutes later and in some style. It was a long ball over the top of the Cork City defence to find Grant and his audacious chip from 35 yards bounced once and went into the roof of the net.

Any hope of a Cork City fight-back were dashed just after the break as Dawson Devoy found space to cross for Wright who headed home in the 52nd minute.

A fantastic evening for Bohemians who remain on track for another European campaign next season whilst Cork City sit at the foot of the Premier Division table.
