Goals from Philly Gannon, Ismahil Akinade and Jamie Hamilton saw the Gypsies win 3-1 in impressive fashion over already down Finn Harps.

Missing such regulars as Shane Supple, Fuad Sule and Dan Byrne didn't stop the home sides good recent run of form and with just a minute on the clock should have taken the lead. Ismahil Akinade did well to dribble into the box but was well tackled by Ciaran Coll, the ball rebounded to Dinny Corcoran but Bohs top scorer couldn't adjust his body to volley home.

The home sides looked comfortable from the off and it was no surprise when they eventually took the lead on 28 minutes. Akinade looked to play a clever one-two with Corcoran but Philly Gannon burst through midfield to get on the return ball.

Having seen his initial effort parried by Gallagher, the midfielder followed up his shot to poke home for his first of the season. Minutes later the hosts should have doubled their lead when the referee pointed to the spot following Packie Mailey's handball from an Oscar Brennan corner.

Up stepped Corcoran looking for his 16th in the league but saw his scuffed effort hit the post. The second half took a while to get going and took a late Mark Timlin challenge on substitute Jamie Hamilton to spark the game to life. Minutes later, Derek Pender, playing left back , made a tremendous run to the by line and clipped a cross to the back post for Akinade to volley home.

Substitute Jamie Hamilton got in on the act with his first league goal controlling a first time finish back across goal from Oscar Brennan's cross Finn Harps showed some fighting spirit and got a consolation through an own goal. Three corners in a row resulted with a huge goal mouth scramble and it was anybody's guess who got the last touch but what looked for certain was it came off a black and red shirt on the way in. Bohs saw out the game as it finished 3-1 and in doing so finished a hugely impressive 5th in the league thanks to Cork City defeating Bray Wanderers 1-0.
