Limerick FC have Brendan Clarke to thank as they tiptoed another inch towards safety. Goalkeeper Clarke denied Gary McCabe from 12 yards in the 73rd minute as the visitors collected what could prove to be a precious point come the end of the season. Wanderers had taken the lead through Darragh Noone but a sublime solo goal from Chiedozie Ogbene on 49 minutes would prove worthy of a point. Bray owed a debt to Peter Cherrie in the first half as he denied Tosi multiple times in the first period. Wanderers drew first blood when Buckley delivered a deep cross that was emphatically dispatched by Noone’s powerful header. The equaliser must be in contention for goal of the season. Ogbene roasted Moore for pace down the right flank, cut inside and shimmied past Cherrie, danced past Tim Clancy next and kept his composure to stroke it beyond Cherrie. Limerick’s cushion on the bottom three has now been reduced to three points with Galway United triumphing over Derry City.
