Rovers were always comfortable against the Leesiders and took the lead in the 17th minute. Jack Byrne found space on the left and his fantastic cross found the head of Greene to put Rovers ahead.
The second goal was almost a carbon copy of the first as Greene scored a brace of headers to put the league leaders 2-0 up at the break.
Cork very rarely looked like getting back into the game and it was Rovers who scored the only goal of the second-half as Neil Farrugia found the net two minutes from time.
