Cork City made it 12 wins out of 12 to stretch their league at the top of SSE Airtrcity League Premier Division to 14 points as they comprehensively defeated Finn Harps at Turner's Cross.
The Leesiders took the lead in the 23rd minute after good work from Sean Maguire kept the attack alive, winger Stephen Dooley drilled a low effort into the bottom left corner from the edge of the penalty area.
John Caulfield’s men continued to pile forward in the second half and they doubled their advantage just shy of the hour mark when Sean Maguire expertly lobbed the ball over the on rushing Ciaran Gallagher.
Gearoid Morrissey made it three with neat finish at the back post before defender Ryan Delaney added a fourth, towering a header home from close range following another set piece.
And with the game drawing to a close, Sean Maguire completed the scoring, grabbing his eleventh league goal of the season when he calmly tucked his penalty into the bottom right corner.
