Shamrock Rovers maintained their perfect season with their seventh win in seven matches after an incredible turnaround in Derry.

The home side went ahead in the first-half as Walter Figueira's cross crept inside Alan Mannus' back-post in the 35th minute.

It looked as though Shamrock Rovers would struggle to break down Derry's defence but the league leaders finally made the break-through 12 minutes from time. Dean Williams' glancing header came back out off the post but the unsuspecting and unfortunate Colm Horgan turned the ball into his own net.

Three minutes later, Rovers took the lead. From a short corner, Jack Byrne's cross wasn't cleared and Roberto Lopes slammed home from six yards out to complete an incredible comeback.

Shamrock Rovers go six points clear at the top of the Premier Division ahead of second-placed Bohemians.
