Bray enjoyed the better of the early exchanges and they went close on midway through the first-half as Aaron Greene's strike from a narrow angle was parried behind.
Greene started ahead of Anto Flood in attack and he was a constant threat for the visitors as he curled a 20-yard drive narrowly wide of the far post.
Drogheda were the better side after the break and they nearly secured all three points at the death as Sean Brennan picked out Marc Griffin in the box but the forward missed his kick with Mark Doyle firing wide on the follow-up.
Neither side really did enough to secure all three points and Drogheda will now entertain Derry at home on Friday while Bray will host Sligo Rovers.
