Drogheda United and Shelbourne couldn't be separated at United Park as the sides played out a 1-1 draw.
After a cagey first-half, Drogheda took the lead when Mark Doyle was brought down by Alan Byrne in the penalty area.
Sean Brennan made no mistake as he sent Dean Delany the wrong way, Shels, who had threatened from set-pieces all night, got their equaliser five minutes from time as James English worked a yard of space on the left and he curled a superb strike into the far corner.
UCD were the big winners tonight as they extend their lead at the top with Drogheda and Shels still among the chasing pack
