Finn Harps' BJ Banda was stretchered off in a first half of few chances. Midway through the second half Harry Doherty and Packie Mailey went down injured after colliding during a Sligo attack,
Mailey was able to walk off albeit with a huge bandage on his head but Doherty was on the ground for approximately for 20 minutes as 2 ambulances entered the field to take him to Letterkenny General Hospital along with BJ Banda and Mailey.
Finn Harps were forced to play the last of the game with 10 men after using all 3 substitutes and Matty Stevens stepped up late in the game to send Sligo through to round three.
