David McMillan netted a brace in his second consecutive game at Finn Park having grabbed 2 in this fixture last season during the historic 7-0 win.

The Striker could have had more hitting the upright on 2 other occasions. Dundalk controlled the game from the get go as Finn Harps registered one shot on target.

McMillan grabbed his first goal in the first half with a neat flick taking the ball past Gallagher and added his second in the second half with another deft flick after a curling ball in from Clifford.

The win keeps Dundalk 6 points behind Cork and sees Harps drop to 8th place after 2 consecutive league defeats.
