Finn Harps came back from a goal down to beat Bohemians 2-1 at Finn Park to win two games on the bounce in a much needed win to open up a bit of breathing space.

Ollie Horgan's side do not move up in the league standings but now sit only 2 points behind their opponents, while moving 4 points ahead of the chasing pack.

Keith Long's team got off to the better start and went ahead on the 29th minute through Dinny Corcoran for his 12th of the season but Finn Harps fought back within minutes to equalize via the right foot of Eddie Dsane who has now scored in consecutive wins.

The teams went in level at the break and just shy of the hour mark Finn Harps took the lead courtesy of Sean Houston.

Bohemians battled the bring the game back level with a couple of late chances but the home side held out after some ugly scenes midway through the second half to gain a crucial 3 points at home.
