Finn Harps booked their place in the second round of the Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup after an extra-time win over Bohemians.

Bohemians will be ruing a missed opportunity after Dinny Corcoran put the Dublin side ahead after 25 minutes.

The home side would go into the break ahead though after Killian Cantwell and Sean Houston's penalty put Ollie Horgan's side ahead.

Corcoran is in fine form this campaign for the Dalymount Park and he notched an impressive brace shortly after break to level the tie once again.

Bohs thought they had snatched victory at Ballybofey as 14 minutes from time as Derek Pender popped up to put the away side back in front.

Deep into injury-time, Harps were handed a FAI Cup life-time as Sean Houston scored his second penalty of the game to force the game into extra-time.

Player of the Month nominee Eddie Dsane settled the tie after 12 minutes of extra time with a wonderful free-kick to put the side in the pot for the next round.
