A 93rd-minute winner from Gary Shanahan was enough to seal a dramatic win for Galway United as the Tribesmen secured their first SSE Airtricity League Premier Division win of the season.

However, Galway rallied well to seal all three points late on. There were chances for Dundalk to grab the win before that as Patrick McEleney and John Mountney came close following the restart for Stephen Kenny's troops.
But it was Galway's night as Shanahan popped up to fire home a loose ball at the death to secure maximum points.
