Galway United completed a spectacular second-half comeback, coming from a goal down to score three in a seven-minute spell and set up a 4-1 win.

The Corribsiders had early chances through Danny Furlong and Alan Murphy, but Wexford looked dangerous on the counter attack - and the visitors broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark through Aaron Dobbs with a header at the back post from a free kick. United couldn't get into second gear and they left the pitch looking deflated.

After the re-start, Furlong nabbed the leveller after being assisted by Kenny from close range. Then, soon after, Ross Kenny was red-carded for a foul on McCormack - the penalty was duly converted by Alan Murphy as he equalled Galway's all time lead scorer Paul McGee on 74 goals.

Ubaezuonu nabbed the third with a stunning effort that cannoned in off the underside of the crossbar, before McCormack completed the rout after converting a brilliant Shanahan assist late on. A fantastic comeback from United, who recovered well - Wexford will be bitterly disappointed to have given up their lead in the manner they did.
