Dinny Corcoran's goal five minutes into the second half gave Bohemians a 1-0 over Limerick at the Markets Field.

The home side had dominated the game for large periods but found Bohs keeper Shane Supple in outstanding form.

Despite Limerick's possession and territory, it was Bohs who should have taken the lead on 16 minutes when a misplaced pass by Shane Duggan put Corcoran through on goal. His shot evaded Freddy Hall but went inches wide of the goal but he made amends on 50 minutes.

A slip by Tommy Robson allowed Paddy Kavanagh time and space inside the Limerick penalty area.

Kavanagh cut the ball back for Corcoran who fired into the top corner for the game clinching goal.
