Limerick FC got their first win in six SSE Airtricty League Premier Division games by beating Bohemians 1-0 at the Markets Field.

Neil McDonald's side should have won by more in a game where they totally dominated their visitors. Chiedozie Ogbene could and probably should have had a hat-trick, but Limerick had to be content with the one goal.

It came on 10 minutes when Rodrigo Tosi was pulled back in the penalty area. The Brazilian stepped up himself to slot the penalty past Shane Supple and Limerick were into a deserved lead.

Supple made several saves before his side got a foothold in the game. Georgie Poynton had the perfect opportunity to level the game eight minutes before the break, but Brendan Clarke made a fine stop from his penalty.

Bohs made a better start to the second half, but could not find a leveller. Limerick had plenty of opportunities to add a second, however they will be content to move back into seventh place in the table and four points clear of the relegation zone.
