Shelbourne still have it all to do if they are going to land the First Division title after they played out a nervy 0-0 draw with Bray Wanderers at Tolka Park on Friday night.

If other results went their way, the home side could have clinched the title on the night but they would have settled for the three points having held a five point lead over Drogheda United prior to the game.

The first half was a cagey affair with both sides struggling to create any clear chances of note. The Shelbourne players appeared to harbour some nerves and this seeped into the expectant crowd as the half wore on.

Many expected Shelbourne to put the opposition under the cosh in the second half but the visitors showed their worth and always looked dangerous on the break.

The final ten minutes proved explosive with the game drifting from end to end. However, it was Shelbourne who created the best chance two minutes into injury time.

A breakaway saw Darragh Noone and Karl Moore link up well before the latter found Moorhouse just inside the box.

However, with just the keeper to beat, he disappointed with a tame effort that Adam Hayden gratefully scooped up.
