Sligo Rovers moved off the bottom of the Premier Division with back-to-back victories since the league restart against Shelbourne.

It was a comfortable victory for the home side who went ahead within the first 30 minutes of the match as Ryan De Vries' cross was headed home by Jesse Devers from six yards out.

Both sides created chances but it was Sligo who made the most of them as David Cawley added a second in the 50th minute as he tucked the ball home from close range.

Shelbourne kept pushing to get themselves back into the game and they found the break-through in added time as Gary Deegan slammed the ball home from the edge of the area.

But Sligo held out to lift themselves off the bottom of the Premier Division table with their second win of the season.
